Coritiba vs Santos Prediction: Will Santos bring back points from Curitiba?

Coritiba will face Santos in round 21 of the Brazilian football championship. Check the team conditions and choose several betting options.

In their last five Brazilian league games, Coritiba has just one home win over Cuiaba, three defeats to Flamengo, Corinthians, and Goias, and a draw against Juventude. Such results keep the future visitors in 10th position, six points behind Inter in the Libertadores Cup zone. A win against Coritiba would put Santos ahead of America and catch Bragantino on points. Santos' away statistics are only 16th in the division, +1=5-3, 6:8 goal difference.

If we compare the current form of the opponents, Santos looks preferable. The Fish don't have the best away statistics in the Brazilian league, but their motivation is high. Santos has been eliminated from both Cups, and the team's task is to fight for a place in the Libertadores Cup, so the Fish will use any opportunity to fulfill the task. And also, note the fact that Santos has been beating Coritiba regularly recently, and not only in their home games but also away.
