América-MG vs RB Bragantino Prediction: Red Bull wants to climb into the top 4

América has picked up seven points in its last three games and moved out of last place, but its next opponent is one of the toughest teams to beat in the Brasileirão. RB Bragantino is in fifth place with the same points as Grêmio and Flamengo, occupying third and fourth place, respectively. Luis Suárez's team has a game in hand and can, therefore, take more points and isolate in the last place on the podium, but Red Bull's objective, at this point, is clear - qualification for the Copa Libertadores. The top four spots grant direct access to the competition, and Bragantino is well-positioned to at least attempt this trick.

The Rabbit was leading 2-0 in Cuiabá in the last round but allowed the home team to equalize in the first half, throwing away the chance to get a first-away win. After the game with Bragantino, América will play direct rivals Vasco da Gama to fix the schedule, as both teams have a game in hand. The Miners are eight points behind Goiás, who sits in 16th place, the first position above the relegation zone. In these two matches against Red Bull and Vasco, América must get as many points as possible.

The Massa Bruta beat Grêmio 2-0 at home in Round 23 in a game that turned out to be simpler than expected for the Bragança Paulista side. Grêmio once again conceded strange goals, and Bragantino took advantage to control the match calmly. Pedro Caixinha's team has only four defeats in the competition, as many as leader Botafogo, and only Palmeiras has lost fewer times. Red Bull has been very consistent, looking to beat América in Belo Horizonte and take three points home.

América has been fighting hard for points lately and will undoubtedly do so again against RB Bragantino. Even so, I'm leaning towards a Double Chance in favor of Bragantino with a minimum of two goals scored. Red Bull is playing without pressure and can get a positive result. América's defense is the most beaten in the Série A.
