Austria Wien vs SK Sturm Graz Prediction: Both teams will find the net

To kick off the new Austrian season, Sturm Graz will travel to Austria Vienna's Generali-Arena on Sunday to play in the Bundesliga against the home team in a much anticipated clash.

In the Austrian league of the previous season, Austria Wien ended in fifth place on the table. Their goal for this season is to once again at least place in the top five. They split their preseason games, winning three and drawing two. Last Friday, they kicked off the new season with a cup triumph on a journey against SV Spittal, which they won 7-0. After that, Austria Wien surprised everyone by beating Borac Banja Luka in the qualifying for the Conference League by only one goal at home.

Sturm Graz enjoyed a lot of success over the past two seasons, to the point where they finished as the second-ranked team in Austria. With RB Salzburg head and shoulders above the rest of the league, Sturm Graz nonetheless managed to finish in second place. Sturm Graz finished the preseason with a record of seven victories and one loss. The previous week, Sturm Graz defeated SAK Klagenfurt 7-2 away from home in the cup competition. Following that victory came the sole defeat of the preseason, a 3-0 setback at the hands of Strasbourg.
