Angola vs Sudan Prediction: Both teams will be cautious not to concede first

Angola will square off against Sudan on Monday at the Estadio 11 de Novembro Stadium. The Falcons of Jediane have been pretty solid lately, unbeaten over their last three matches. At the same time, Angola come into this encounter without defeat over their previous nine games in all competitions.

Since their recent run in the most recent AFCON tournament, the Giant Sable Antelopes have won twice over their last six matches. Angola moved four places up in the latest FIFA Rankings following their decent outing at AFCON. 

Angola have named a strong side for this clash, and they’ll be hopeful of fighting for a point at least here.

James Apiah's men peaked at the right time, as they head here with three consecutive victories in all competitions. Sudan start their campaign with a slim (1-0) win over Niger at home. Abo Eisa scored after the break in a game they created three big chances. 

The Falcons of Jediane, who are ranked 125th in the world according to FIFA, ended their previous AFCON Qualifying round at the bottom of the log. Sudan secured six points from a possible eighteen, scoring three and conceding ten.

Angola were tactically astute against Ghana on the road, scoring at the right time to amass all the points. They’ll be keen to find their rhythm against Sudan who have also been gaining momentum lately.

Both teams have a tactical advantage and a solid defensive setup. Angola can be dangerous on the counter, and we believe they’ll secure all the points if they manage to pull the first blood; bet on a home win or draw and under 2.5 goals for 1.85.
