Having already secured a place in Morocco next year, Angola will face off against the winless Ghana team at the Estadio 11 de Novembro Stadium on Friday. The Giant Sable Antelopes Have been pretty solid lately, unbeaten over their last four matches. At the same time, Ghana come into this encounter without a win over their previous four games in this competition.

ANGOLA

FIFA Ranking: 82nd

Last five matches: DWWWW

Pedro Goncalves' men have been firing from all cylinders in this competition, marching here with four consecutive victories. Angola have also won eight straight matches and are unbeaten in twelve games in all competitions. More recently, they secured their ticket to AFCON 2025 following their (0-1) victory over Niger Republic on the road. Zini scored the only goal that won his side all the points away from home.

The Giant Sable Antelopes moved six places up in the latest FIFA Rankings following their decent outing in the group. Angola have named a strong side for this clash, and they’ll be hopeful of fighting for a point at least here.

GHANA

FIFA Ranking: 73rd

Last five games: WLDDL

The star-studded Black Stars woes continued as they suffered a shocking defeat against Sudan away from home. Despite having two of the best dribbles in EPL on their squad and boosting top-quality players across all competitions, Ghana have been nothing short of disappointing. It was a show of shame in front of their away supporters, who trooped in in their numbers.

Ghana have now gone four games without a win since the tournament began, sitting in third place on the log.

Otto Addo's men have picked up two points from their last four games, scoring once and conceding four. Ghana's only hope of advancing is to win their previous two games and hope Sudan lose against Niger.

Expert Betting Tips

Angola have won once, while Ghana have won twice and a game ending in a tie over their previous four meetings.

In the reverse leg, the Giant Sable Antelopes were tactically astute against Ghana on the road, scoring at the right time to amass all the points. They have been formidable since then, keeping back-to-back clean sheets.

For the Black Stars, eight players have withdrawn from the upcoming AFCON against Angola and Niger due to various reasons. They include Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jonas Adjetey, Tariq Lamptey, Jerome Opoku, Alexander Djiku, Ibrahim Osman and Joseph Painstil. It’s going to be a big miss for the Ghana team who have been struggling before now.

Angola already qualified for the tournament, and we are not confident they’ll be motivated to win this game; however, we expect them to at least secure a point here; bet on a home win or draw and under 2.5 goals for 2.21.

If goals will surface here, then we expect Angola to score first for 2.01.

We anticipate a slim win for the hosts here since the guests have been below par in this competition.

Good luck!
