Al-Sadd SC vs Umm Salal SC Prediction: Both teams to score and a total of over 2.5 goals

In a shocking turn of events, the defending champions of Qatar lost their league opener to Al-Shamal but they’ve been on a phenomenal winning form since that defeat to Shamal. In their second league game against Qatar SC, Al-Sadd showed their true colors by defeating Qatar SC with a 1-5 scoreline. As if that was not enough, they also put 5 goals past poor Al-Arabi in their third league game of the season and they’ve now scored 11 goals from three games played in the league. Rafa Mujica got a hat-trick in that game against Al-Arabi and he now leads the Qatar Stars league in goals with 5 goals scored. 

Al-Sadd is currently 3rd in the league table with 2 wins and a loss from the games played and they’ll most definitely aim for another win as they take on Umm Salal on Friday.

Umm Salal struggled in their season opener against Al-Rayyan, ultimately falling and losing the game by a 2-goal margin. However, they bounced back to winning ways with a 3-2 win over Al-Shamal in their second league game. Sadly, their third and most recent league game against Al-Duhail ended in a 1-0 defeat as they couldn’t hold down the league leaders to a draw. They are currently 7th placed in the league with a win and two losses from three games played.

Umm Salal is striving for another win in the league but Al-Sadd happens to be in a sensational form.
