Guinea vs Ethiopia Prediction: An entertaining match ahead

Beginning this Friday in Casablanca at the Stadium Mohammed V, Guinea and Ethiopia will square off twice this month in qualifying matches for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Both teams have earned three points after their first two games of the qualifying round; however, Ethiopia is currently in first place in Group D, while Guinea is currently in third place because of their worse goal difference.

The National Elephants were defeated by Egypt with a score of 1-0 in their first game, but they bounced back to defeat Malawi with the same scoreline in their second match thanks to a goal scored by Liverpool star Naby Keita in the 91st minute. Amadou Diawara, another experienced midfielder, and Mohamed Bayo, a rising star, are among the 23 players that head coach Kaba Diawara has called up for the two games against Ethiopia this month.

Ethiopia lost to Malawi by a score of 2-1 in their first game, but they bounced back to defeat Egypt by a score of 2-0 in their second game. Wubetu Abate, the head coach, has called up a total of 23 players for the upcoming matches. Among those players is Shimelis Bekele, who holds the record for most appearances with 75 to his name. Yosef Tarekegn, Seid Habtamu, and Abubeker Nura are the only members of the squad who have not yet earned a cap for their country. The most recent match that Ethiopia had played in a friendly tournament was against Rwanda at home, and they come into this game with a winning record.

We anticipate that this will be a very entertaining contest, with goals coming from either side of the field.
