Sweden vs USA Prediction: Both sides will settle for a full-time draw, with USA scaling through

With three wins in the group phase, Sweden will strive to maintain their unbeaten run when they lock horns with the defending champions at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Sunday. Two of the top-rated teams in the World will contest for a place in the quarterfinals, and the winner here might just go ahead and win the trophy.

Sweden began their journey with a (2-1) victory over South Africa and followed it up with a convincing (5-0) victory over Italy. More recently, despite leaving nine starters out of their starting eleven, they won (2-0) against Argentina.

USA began their journey with a (3-0) victory over Vietnam and shared the spoils against the Netherlands despite conceding first. It has been a porous performance for the four-time World Champions, scoring four times while conceding once.
