Germany vs Morocco Prediction: The Germans will get a comfortable victory over their opponent

Germany will square off with Morocco at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Monday. DFB Women’s Team are the second most successful side in the tournament, while Morocco head here for the first time in their history.

DFB Women are the only side who to have gone toe to toe with the USA National Women's team in this tournament. Germany have won gold twice (2003,2007) and finished in the top eight in 2019. Germany are also the most decorated team in the UEFA Women's Championship, with eight titles to their name, and are one of the two European sides to have won the gold medal in the Olympics.

DFB Women have not had it easy over their last eight games, with three defeats, a draw and four victories. In fact, they lost to Zambia in their most recent friendly match as the African side struck three times while Germany responded twice.

Germany are one of the favourites to win this tournament despite their poor display over their last eight matches, and we are confident they’ll give Morocco a run for their money here.

Morocco have managed just one victory over their last eight matches. However, they’ve drawn in their previous two friendly games against Switzerland and Italy.

The Lionesses of Atlas are the lowest-ranked side in this tournament, and it’ll be tough for them to qualify in a group with Colombia, South Korea and Germany.
