Zero Tenacity went straight into the main stage, so there's not much to say about the form that the Poles will start the group stage with. Still, the first match made everything clear. The guys almost managed to win the game they lost, but Giants joined in at the last moment to take their first win. The next opponent for the Poles will be Vitality.Bee, who can be beaten, though by no means easily.
Zero Tenacity have already played three times at the EU Masters, but the results have always been not very nice. When they got to the Play-In stage, they could not get to the main one, and when they got to the main one, they could not get out of the group.
Zero Tenacity is a Serbian team. They were briefly known as Z10 ESHARK. The guys originally started with Balkan League Season 7, but after the ninth season there was a dramatic change. Zero Tenacity left the Balkan League, then acquired a PDW slot in Ultraliga, where they began playing at the beginning of Season 7. The change of the leagues did not change the results. Zero Tenacity still finished in the top places, but repeatedly failed at the EU Masters.
Vitality.Bee: not the best of starts
Roster:
- Szygenda — Mathias Jensen (Top Laner);
- Skeanz — Duncan Marquet (Jungler);
- Diplex — Dimitri Ponomarev (Mid Laner);
- Jeskla — Jesper Klarin Strömberg (Bot Laner);
- Jactroll — Jakub Skurzyński (Support).
Starting with the Play-In stage, Vitality.Bee raced through the group stage without losses, and then made it to the main stage, beating eSuba 2-0 on the maps. At the main stage, the French tried to continue their winning streak, but Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition put the guys in their place, finishing the first game day beautifully. Vitality.Bee's next opponent will be Zero Tenacity, who had a good showing on day one.
VitalityBee has been to the EU Masters four times, but it wasn't until 2022 that the organization started to get something going. Until 2022, the guys couldn't make it to the main stage, finishing the tournament at the Play-In stage. In the spring of 2022, VitalityBee was able to not only make it to the main stage for the first time, but even placed fourth at this EU Masters.
VitalityBee is the academic roster of Team Vitality. They appeared in 2019 and got into the LFL right away. VitalityBee had a pretty good tryout. They made the playoffs in their first split but finished only in fifth place. After that, the team steadily made the LFL playoffs and occasionally finished in the top spot.
The 2022 spring split for VitalityBee came out well. After finishing 5th overall, the guys made the playoffs, where a 3-0 win on the maps against Misfits Premier allowed VitalityBee to enter the EU Masters from the Play-In stage. The EU Masters itself went much better for the guys. After getting through the Play-In stage in the first place, VitalityBee showed the same result in the main stage, thus advancing to the playoffs. VitalityBee had no problems in the first round, defeating Fnatic TQ 3-0 on maps. The semifinals, on the other hand, were a mess. Karmine Corp stopped their opponents with a 3-2 and soon became the EU Masters Spring Split champions. Before the summer split, the organization decided not to make any substitutions, leaving the lineup unchanged.
Vitality.Bee's journey in the summer split started very well. In the first week, the guys defeated Mirage Elyandra, and at the end, they defeated Solary, thus going 2-0 from the start. The second week also went off without a hitch. Misfits Premier couldn't fight back in a meaningful way on the first game day, while Team Oplon’s efforts weren’t enough.
The third week started with a loss against GameWard, but at the end, the guys pulled themselves together and took the winning points from Team GO, thus going to a 5-1 score at the end of three weeks. On week four, Vitality.Bee faced LDLC OL, Karmine Corp, and Team BDS Academy. In the match against LDLC OL, the guys were unlucky, but the next opponents were less strong. In the match against Karmine Corp, the guys failed, thereby giving up points and third place in the overall standings. It wasn't until the end of the week that Vitality.Bee woke up, defeating Team BDS Academy.
In week five, VitalityBee defeated Mirage Elyandra and Solary, solidifying their position at the top of the overall standings. Week 6 began with a loss to Misfits Premier. At the end of the week, the guys rehabilitated themselves by beating Team Oplon and GameWard at the beginning of week seven. At the end of the week, VitalityBee lost to Team GO. Week 8 consisted of just one match, which the guys picked up pretty confidently. In week nine, the guys lost both games, but that didn't stop them from making the playoffs from third place. In the playoffs themselves, VitalityBee managed to beat Misfits Premier and GameWard, thereby definitely qualifying for the EU Masters, but a loss to LDLC OL sent the guys to the Play-In stage.
