Top Esports

With this being Top Esports' first appearance at MSI, it's hard to speculate what the team is capable of on the big stage. However, having made three changes to their roster, Top has looked very formidable since the start of the 2024 season. Aside from bringing in former top-player JDG, one of Top's most underrated acquisitions was Worlds 2021 champion, formerly of EDward Gaming, Tian "meiko" Ye.

Having spent the majority of his career with EDG, meiko has managed to remain a highly rated support player despite a recent team change. In the LPL Spring Split playoffs, he ranked third in KDA average and awesome assists among support players, keeping his GPM from getting too low. His kill percentage is also pretty decent, ranking fourth. However, it's worth noting that Meiko played the second highest number of games among all support players during the playoffs.

In the home arena, Top Esports looks to be one of the favourites for the tournament, even more so at this early stage.

.

LOUD

Although Brazil has long been considered a secondary region, LOUD's dominance over CBLOL is hard to ignore. The four-time champions have been the better team over the past few years, and it's easy to see why. In addition, this will be the second consecutive appearance at MSI, which emphasises how well LOUD have performed in such a short period of time. Among the players that have stood out in the LOUD lineup over the years is Leonardo "Robo" Souza.

Robo has been a part of LOUD's recent successes. His performances during CBLOL Split 1 showed just how important he is to the LOUD team. Despite playing far fewer games than many other topliners, Robo managed to maintain the second highest average KDA, as well as being the top topline farmer with an exceptional gold per minute (GPM) average.

But many realise just how unlucky the Brazilians are with their first opponents, but it's not Top Esports who are their main rival for a second trip to the main stage, it's precisely Fnatic.

Expert Betting Tips

The Chinese team is the clear favourite, but the Brazilians know how to surprise and are capable of making a lot of kills on both maps. Yes, they should not count on winning the map, but they can easily exchange kills.
