SK Gaming: Very bad predictions for this split

SK Gaming didn't get off to a very good start in this split. In the first week, the guys could win Team BDS in a tight game, but things got worse from there. On the second game day, MAD Lions left no chance for the guys, and on the third game day, Fnatic also easily defeated SK Gaming. The guys face Astralis and Misfits Gaming this week, where one game out of two can be taken away.

SK Gaming is a German cybersports organization. Founded in 1997 under the name "Schroet Kommando" in Oberhausen, Germany, it has since evolved into one of the largest and most well-known cybersports organizations in the world. They are primarily known for their hugely successful Counter-Strike team. SK Gaming's entry into the League of Legends discipline began on September 16, 2010, when SK acquired the I WEAR A CAPE IRL team consisting of Osaft22, SleazyWeazy, Severus, Reyk, Zylor, Pylat, and Awe kek. SK Gaming began competing in the LEC in 2013, but there were no results until 2016. Then the organization decided to freeze the project, returning only in 2018, but then they played in the Prime League (Germany's main league). They did not stay there long and returned to the LEC as of the 2019 season. The organization is still not showing results, ranking 5-6 in all splits.

SK Gaming finished the spring split in 8th place in the overall standings, thus missing the playoffs by a score of 7-11. The organization did not make any substitutions for the summer split.

This season, SK Gaming has only replaced a jungler and a mid laner.

Gilius is a German jungler who has played in many leagues during his career, including the LEC for various organizations.

Sertuss is a German mid laner who managed to destroy French and German major leagues during his career but didn't show anything at EU Masters.

Astralis: A replacement that worked

The start of the split was very good for Astralis. Although in the opening match G2 Esports sent the guys to the score 0-1, then things went much better. On the second game day Team BDS could not compete with the guys, and on the third game day, Astralis had to sweat. In a difficult meeting, the guys took important points against Misfits Gaming, thus going to a score of 1-2, at the end of the first game week. This week, Astralis will meet SK Gaming and Rogue, who can be beaten.

The Astralis didn't come into League of Legends from the beginning. It was a little more complicated than that. Astralis was the first Danish-owned organization founded in 2016 as a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team with an all-Danish Team SoloMid roster. It was rumored that after winning four Major CS:GO tournaments, the organization would join the EU LCS as part of the 2019 European franchise program. It was later reported that Astralis' parent company, RFRSH Entertainment, had acquired Origen and would use their name and brand to participate in the EU LCS. On August 9, 2019, Astralis and Origen merged into the Astralis Group, which separated from RFRSH Entertainment. On September 15, 2020, it was announced that Astralis Group would merge all Astralis-branded activities and teams, including Origen's League of Legends team.

Now let's talk about Origen, as their results are nothing short of spectacular. In 2015, they tore up the whole European scene, taking 1st place in the spring, 2nd place in the summer, and 1st place at the regional finals. They also made it to Worlds that year, where they took 3rd-4th place. Early 2016 continued Origen's winning ways as they finished 2nd in the spring split, but a 9th place finish in the summer split sent them to play qualifiers the following season. In 2017, they are out of the LCS again, but their attempt to get through qualifying this time fails. They play matches for a chance to get to the EU Masters, but in addition to winning the league, they pick up a win at the EU Masters. In 2019 the organization finished 2nd in the Spring Split but again failed in the Summer Split, putting Origen away from a chance to go to Worlds. At the end of the season, they finished 4th at the Regional Finals and moved on. The 2020 season began with a 4th place finish in the spring split and another failure in the summer split (10th place this time). The 2021 season showed nothing new. 8th and 9th place on the two splits.

The spring split was a failure for Astralis. The organization finished 10th overall, 3-15. Before the summer split, the organization replaced three players.
