SK Gaming Prime: They have to make the playoffs

SK Gaming Prime started the EU Masters with the Play-In stage and immediately showed they are at least in the top-16 of this tournament. They lost only once in six matches. The exit match went pretty smoothly. 2-0, against White Dragons, took the Germans into the main stage. From the first day, SK gaming Prime began to have problems. In the opening match, the guys lost to Team Heretics, which already slightly distanced the organization from the playoff stage. Today SK Gaming Prime will meet Team BDS Academy, which will be difficult to beat but possible.

SK Gaming Prime has only appeared at the EU Masters once. That was in 2019, when the guys finished second on the Premier Tour Spring 2019, thus starting the EU Masters from the Play-In stage. The team made it to the playoff stage without much trouble, where they sent home LDLC OL and Fnatic Rising but lost in a resounding 0-3 final against Misfits Premier. After that, SK Gaming Prime did not appear at the EU Masters.

SK Gaming Prime is SK Gaming's academic roster, but they have also been performing very well. For SK Gaming Prime, 2019 was a year of dominance in the Prime League. At all but the summer splits, they were in 2nd place, and at the EU Masters, which was held before the summer split, SK Gaming Prime also snatched a silver medal. But after these achievements, there was a strong decline. In the summer, they are in 5th-8th place, and in 2020 they are already in 9th-10th place in both splits. They have to play qualifiers to get back into the Prime League. By the way, they haven't had a problem with that. In the league itself, SK Gaming Prime showed an average result, finishing 5th-6th in the spring and winter and 4th in the summer. This season SK Gaming Prime had four replacements, leaving only Alois from the old roster. The spring season was not the most successful for the renewed roster, but the guys came together quite strongly in the last two weeks. The only problem was that they got together too late. After finishing in 7th place, SK Gaming Prime missed the playoffs of the spring split one step away. Before the summer split, the organization switched mid and snappers. SK Gaming Prime began the first week of the summer split with a loss against Wave Esports. Finish this week, the guys were also supposed to lose, but in a tense battle, SK Gaming Prime was able to snatch the victory from UOL Sexy Edition. The second week started with a loss against Schalke 04, but a win, against BIG, at the end of the week brought the guys to a 2-2 score. SK Gaming Prime started the third week with a win against MOUZ. On the second game day, the guys met with Eintracht Spandau, which they could defeat in a tight encounter, thus breaking their win streak. On the fourth week the guys met E WIE EINFACH and GamerLegion. E WIE EINFACH was unable to face the win-hungry SK Gaming Prime. On the second game day, SK Gaming Prime easily defeated GamerLegion, thereby reaching a 6-2 score, which is close to first place in the overall standings. In week five, SK Gaming Prime first wins PENTA 1860 but then comes a loss against Wave Esports. Week 6 also goes without consistent wins. First, SK Gaming Prime loses to Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition and then beats Schalke 04. The same thing happens again in Week 7. SK Gaming Prime lost to BIG but defeated MOUZ in an important match, thus securing a playoff berth. At the beginning of the eighth week, SK Gaming Prime met with Eintracht Spandau, which they were able to beat, thus solidifying third place in the overall standings. After that, they played three more matches in a row and qualified for the playoffs in second place. The playoffs themselves were awful. After losing 0-3 in two consecutive games, SK Gaming Prime finished third in the season, thus qualifying for the play-in stage of the EU Masters.

Team BDS Academy: A good start

Team BDS Academy enters the EU Masters in a fairly comfortable group to make the playoffs, but Team Heretics and SK Gaming Prime can put sticks in the wheels, leaving the French in third place. In the first match Team, BDS Academy met Valiance, which they won without much trouble, thus starting the tournament with a victory. Today Team BDS Academy will play SK Gaming Prime, which will not be too easy to beat, but the victory should go to the French.

We have already seen Team BDS Academy at the EU Masters. That was in the last split, when the organization took second place, going straight to the tournament's main stage. At the actual EU Masters, the French were not so lucky. The guys finished third, not making the playoff stage.

Team BDS Academy is an academic team of Team BDS. The team used to participate in the French Open Tour, but after the main team bought a spot in the LEC, it now functions as their academic team in the LFL. This team began participating in the LFL in 2022. Team BDS Academy started the spring split with a score of 12-6, thus finishing 3rd in the group. The playoff stage went just as nicely. With a 3-1 win against Team GO and a 3-2 win against VitalityBee, Team BDS Academy was able to qualify for the EU Masters. However, that wasn't all. The guys beat Karmine Corp 3-1 but lost in the final 3-2 against LDLC OL. EU Masters itself was not very good. Taking third place in their group, Team BDS Academy could not reach the playoffs, finishing in 9th-11th place. The organization replaced three players for the summer split. The summer split did not start out too well for BDS Academy. A frustrating loss against LDLC OL set the mood for the entire game week, at the end of which the guys lost with a rout of Mirage Elyandra. The second week started with a fairly easy win against Solary, but at the end of the week, the guys offensively lost to Karmine Corp, thus going 1-3 at the end of two game weeks. The third week began with a close win against Team Oplon, but the winning attitude until the end of the week could not be held. GameWard took away the winning points from BDS Academy, after which the guys went to a 2-4 score. In this super week, which entered its fourth game week, Team BDS Academy faced off against Team GO, Misfits Premier, and VitalityBee.

In the match against Team GO, the guys showed themselves well in key fights, thereby taking the match for themselves. In the match against Misfits Academy, the guys did not succeed, giving up quite important points. And on the third game day, the guys completely failed, giving the victory to VitalityBee. In week 5, Team BDS Academy lost to LDLC OL, but at the end of the week, they beat Mirage Elyandra. Week six began with wins against Solary and Karmine Corp. Week 7 continued Team BDS Academy's winning streak, defeating Team Oplon and GameWard. Well, in week eight, the guys registered their sixth win in a row, beating Misfits Premier. At the beginning of week 9, Team BDS Academy defeated Team GO. It then ended the group stage with a victory against VitalityBee, thus advancing to the playoff stage from second place. In the first match, Team BDS Academy surprised everyone by beating LDLC OL 3-1 on maps, thereby entering the main stage of the EU Masters. The guys lost the final itself, but it was not too offensive.
