Mirage Elyandra vs GameWard Prediction: GameWard should take second place

On Wednesday, July 27, the first day match of the ninth game of the LFL Summer 2022 tournament will take place. This match will pit Mirage Elyandra against GameWard.

This split isn't going too well for Mirage Elyandra. The guys lost their opening match against VitalityBee, but at the end of the first week, they recovered by beating Team BDS Academy by a landslide. The second week was very bad. Mirage Elyandra lost to LDLC OL in their opening match, and at the end of the week, they were crushed by Misfits Premier. The third week started with a very close loss against Karmine Corp and ended with a loss against Team Oplon. In this super week, which fell in the fourth game week, Mirage Elyandra faced GameWard, Solary, and Team GO. The match against GameWard did not turn out as successful as the Mirage Elyandra coaching staff imagined it to be. Likewise, the meeting against Solary was not a success. And at the end of the week, Team GO simply gave the guys no chance to win. In the fifth week, Mirage Elyandra lost to VitalityBee and Team BDS Academy, which sent the guys lower and lower in the overall standings. Week 6 didn't change the loss in any way. LDLC OL and Misfits Premier had no problem beating Mirage Elyandra. Week 7 began with another defeat, only to Karmine Corp. At the end of the week, however, the losing streak was interrupted with a win against Team Oplon. In Week 8, Solary brought the guys back down to earth, beating them without any problems. This week, Mirage Elyandra will face GameWard and Team GO, who are in dire need of wins.

Mirage Elyandra is a French team created by a partnership between Elyandra Esport and Mirage Sport Électronique. The history of Mirage Elyandra began this year when Elyandra Esport went from the second division to the major league in France and partnered with Mirage Esports.

Mirage Elyandra didn't do too well in the spring split, but pretty good for their first time. The guys were in 9th place overall, with a score of 6-12, but they were only three wins away from a playoff slot. For the summer split, the organization decided not to make replacements.

This split started very well for GameWard. In the first week, the guys had no problem winning against Misfits Premier and then defeated the reigning EU Masters champions, Karmine Corp. In Week 2, GameWard continued their win streak by defeating Team Oplon, but at the end of the week, Team GO stopped GameWard's winning streak in a very close encounter. Week 3 began with a win against VitalityBee, and towards the end of the week, the guys defeated Team BDS Academy, thus going 5-1 at the end of the three weeks. In this super week, which fell in the fourth game week, GameWard faced Mirage Elyandra, LDLC OL, and Solary. In their opening match of the week, GameWard easily defeated Mirage Elyandra, making the score 6-1. The loss against LDLC OL did not put the guys far behind, but Karmine Corp caught up with GameWard on points. The guys were able to finish this week on a winning note, beating Solary and solidifying second place with a score of 7-2. In Week 5, GameWard beat Misfits Premier and Karmine Corp, which gave the team a huge confidence boost. Week 6, however, was not a good matchup. After losing to Team Oplon, the guys, although they dropped a bit lower, quickly recovered by defeating Team GO. Week 7 was very disappointing. After losing to VitalityBee and Team BDS Academy, GameWard lost their spirit and also gave up their eighth game week, where LDLC OL made the guys a series of three losses in a row. GameWard will face Mirage Elyandra and Solary in the final week. If the guys win both games, they will with great probability take second place.

GameWard was able to get into the LFL as a team that was supposed to expand the league from 8 to 10 teams, but they ended up just replacing another organization. Since 2020, GameWard has started to perform quite well in the main league in France. A stable 5th place in 2020 and the spring split of 2021 suited everyone, but the summer split of 2021 was not very successful, taking only 7th place.

This season's spring split was the worst ever for GameWard. After finishing in 8th place with a score of 7-11, management decided to take a risk by leaving the lineup with no replacements for the summer split.

In this match, I will take a win for GameWard.
