LNG Esports vs Rare Atom: The LNG team will continue to surprise

The LPL Regional Finals 2021 mini-tournament will continue on Saturday, September 4, and qualify for the 2021 World Cup. The first eliminated will be LNG Esports or Rare Atom.

The LPL Regional Finals 2021 is a qualifying tournament for China’s top teams for the upcoming World Championship 2021. The four LPL teams with the highest number of championship points will play for two tickets to the major tournament of the year in League of Legends, which will be played from 3 to September 5, 2021.

LNG Esports is the biggest sensation of the Chinese summer LoL championship. LNG Esports lost to FunPlus Phoenix (0-3) in the top bracket without a chance, showing that it looks like the power is gone. The week after, the strength didn’t add up, and the Blue Dragons also lost in the losers, but to the formidable guys from EDward Gaming (1:3), who ended up being the champions of China.

The first round of the regional finals should be overtaken by LNG, but the fight for the remaining World Cup 2021 berth will be fierce on the following day.

Rare Atom are the former Vici Gaming. Rebranding is a good thing if it’s backed up by better results later on, but on the whole, this squad has promised to surprise their region this season.

The ex-Vici in the spring season could barely clinch the playoff stage, where they could not go far, finishing in 7th-8th place in the end. The roster didn’t change in the April-May offseason, the guys worked on their game, and it paid off.

Team RA made the playoffs again and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. The boys lost to Team WE (2-3). Yes, it was an unbelievable struggle, but a defeat is a defeat. I cannot imagine this team as a World Cup 2021 participant.
