Team Liquid has always been a constant player on the tier-1 scene, but has very rarely won titles. The trophies in the history of Liquid falls in 2019, it was really the era of Team Liquid where the team didn't win only at the majors. But the old Liquid players are also in good condition - YEKINDAR is back in his position and dominating the servers again, Twistzzz and NAF can make the map with two players as before. But the main difference from the last squad is another - everyone is in their place, not pulling the blanket on themselves, everyone complements each other organically. Team Liquid is good in defence (64% win rate), and they are successful in pistol rounds (62%).

With all the compliments for Liquid, the team is still raw and just learning how to play together. It fights on the same level with top teams, it has fresh wins over Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, Complexity, and in the group with Team Vitality the team fought well. But to consider Team Liquid as a full-fledged member of the dash-1 scene, they need to beat G2 Esports.

G2 Esports is the clear favourite in this match for all CS2 fans. But Team Liquid is very dangerous, as the practice of recent matches shows. A lot of sensations happen at the tournament, the Liquid can believe in themselves and take two cards. But for now we will be realistic and believe in m0NESY and company.
