Wildcard Gaming is a North American eSports organization that has decided to break into Dota 2 in December 2021. WG has acquired a D2 Hustlers squad that has become very popular in the North American arena.
Wildcard Gaming debuted far from perfect, but the 2-2 stats aren't too bad, especially when Evil Geniuses is next door with the same numbers in the table. Incidentally, it was EG (2-0) that these guys managed to defeat, putting the legendary virtually no chance of winning the first major in 2022.
Although before that epic win, there was a disappointing opening match against Team Undying (0-2), then there was an awesome game against Arkosh Gaming (2-0). The Wildcard Gaming boys finished the year with a 1-2 defeat to Quincy Crew, but the team fought for the grand. It's unlikely that we'll see these guys in contention for the majors, but the guys shouldn't have to fight for life either, and just this game should give them that opportunity.
Black N Yellow: Lots of mistakes
Black N Yellow is a North American team formed to compete in DPC 2021. Remarkably, the project hasn't shut down after failing to do absolutely nothing in its first-ever DPC cycle. A constant turnover of players, even maestros like EternaLEnVy and Ryoya came in. Still, they could not do anything about the team's game, which did not show any serious results.
They finished sixth in the elite division of the North American DPC leagues twice, and their most successful tournament was qualifying for TI10, where they came in fourth.
The new DPC cycle begins with a new Black N Yellow squad. Before starting the winter league, the following newcomers to the team: Uruguayan free agent Rises, formerly of A-Team and EgoBoys, and Canadian mid high_shaggy, who made his competitive debut under the alias Canus Vulpus for Arkosh Gaming. A couple of new opponents have also been unveiled: the Brazilian front four represented by dunha1 has decided to try and conquer North America, having arrived from the hot South American region, and the Canadian front five Jubei who returned to his home country, the very BNY where the player started this year. One constant thing in this team is the trio, American zero, who has been through all the circles of hell with this team.
The guys started the new DPC cycle sensationally strong. The first game was against 4 Zoomers, even though they lost 1:2, but the first map was snatched away from a pretty strong team. But already in this game week, the main sensation happened. Black N Yellow beat Evil Geniuses (2:1) for the first time in history, and it is not a fairy tale, not a present from the Evil Geniuses before the New Year... EG lost important points for themselves, while BNY, on the contrary, gained that may already be a guarantee not to drop out of the elite. Although a further success, the boys could not develop and lost to their opponents from Team Undying (0:2) and Arkosh Gaming (1:2), which dropped the team to the penultimate line. The season is winding down, and now every game is worth its weight in gold.
Expert Betting Tips
The guys from Wildcard Gaming are more skilful than Black N Yellow, as they showed in their games with the giants, though the latter also managed to upset EG but not as decisively as the WGs. That's why I suggest we take a handicap 1 (-1.5) on maps for 2.00.
The first map will please us with many kills, and I suggest taking Total Over 48.5 kills; the odds are 1.90.
