On Sunday, April 25, will take place another game within the Chinese DPC League's second division. Phoenix Gaming and Demon Slayer are the ones starting the day, both situated at different spots of the table.

Dota Pro Circuit 2021: S2 - China Upper Division is the second regional DPC league in China. The leagues are divided into the first and the second division, with eight teams in each division. Division one has eight teams competing for four spots in the Major tournament and a prize pool of $205,000. Division two is fighting for two spots in the elite division for the next season and a prize pool of $75,000. The games run from April 12 through May 23, 2021.

Phoenix Gaming: The team will keep winning

There aren't many clear-cut favorites in Div2 this season, but Phoenix Gaming might still be one of them. Last time they lacked just a little bit, a lot was decided by the disqualification of the «whales», which did not allow to start the replay for spots in the elite tournament and Phoenix Gaming ended 4th.

They started the second season very confidently, having already achieved three wins. They were defeated by Dragon (2-0), Xtreme Gaming (2-0), and Aster.Aries (2-1). There's no doubt that all of the newly formed teams can't be considered serious opponents for the Phoenix, so today's game with Demon Slayer is very predictable for the experts of the Chinese Dota.

Demon Slayer: Another defeat for the favorite

A new Chinese team that was able to go through the open qualifiers and qualify for the second division in China. A group of young guys can perform quite well at the tournament, but they are clearly not among the favorites.

On the professional scene, Demon Slayer has been seen at tournaments like the WCAA Spring Sunshine, which is a quagmire, drawing many teams that aren't exactly stable and clear. It's hard to imagine, at the start of the season, what the guys are hoping for, but they might surprise us now that they've made it to the DPC level.

Indeed, they can still surprise us, but the first three games of the season have not been successful. Defeats against: LBZS (0-2), Team MagMa (0-2) and CDEC Gaming (0-2) demonstrate that the guys should only count on keeping their place in the DPC league. The toughest opponents are behind, the game with Phoenix is ahead, and Phoenix also are the favorites in this fight, but afterward, it's safe to believe in these guys in all their games. But again, not tonight in a game against the fourth favorite of the Div2.
