How hard is the group stage of the current major for OG. So far, the European team has only one win over RNG (2-0) while losing to PSG.LGD (0-2) and three draws with Team Liquid (1-1), Fnatic (1-1), and Soniqs (1-1). Yesterday's game day lifted OG into the playoff zone, but things are so tight in Group A that it's one failure or success from relegation or promotion.
The current OG team continues to hold the brand of an aggressive squad, and that style of play helped them win the first major of 2022 and perform well in all regional leagues, resulting in a guaranteed trip to TI11.
We should note that at the Riyadh Masters 2022 in late July, OG was playing at full strength. Finally, Misha solved all the problems. However, the OG support was not allowed to the second major again due to visa problems. In the USA, the legendary Ceb will stand in again, but could he prepare something besides his Swedish Windranger that won't surprise anyone anymore?
Outsiders: Russians fighting for upper bracket
RAMZES666 and others have already played five games in this major and so far, like PSG.LGD, have not known the taste of defeat. Yes, there are not enough victories, namely one so far — over Talon Esports; the other games ended in a draw. The team shared points with their peers from RNG, Fnatic, Team Liquid, and Thunder Awaken.
The long-suffering Bears are finally reaching their peak form. The Russian team's DPC spring season was horrible. In the first game, carry Pure earned a suspension and then was kicked out.
VP kept silent for a long time and, at the beginning of the summer tour, announced their rescue plan. The legendary RAMZES666 returned to his home team. Many no longer believed in Roman, but he proved with his play that he was ready to break into the elite of the dota scene again, and not just to take money from advertising contracts. Outsiders sensationally won the Eastern European DPC League summer tour, beating NaVi and Team Spirit in the championship replay. Notably, the Bears only lost to NaVi in the regular season, but the VP players themselves reported that they played that day with poor health.
It's very important that the full roster of Outsiders came to the United States. All of the Russian players got visas, which means that VPs will show their best.
Outsiders is a tag created as a neutral name for the team and now gives it the right to participate in major cybersports tournaments.
Head-to-head encounters
Virtus.pro has historically done well against OG, but times are different now. However, the current Outsiders look stronger than OG with Ceb at this tournament. The last time they fought each other was at TI10, but the two teams' lineups are different now.
