felt vs 5RATFORCESTAFF Prediction: North American outsiders battle for first points

On Tuesday, June 28, the fourth game week of the third round of the North American DPC Regional Dota 2 League will begin. In the only match of the next game day of the summer tour of the league, the teams felt, and 5RATFORCESTAFF will play.

DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I is an online Dota 2 tournament that will run from June 07 to July 13, 2022. Eight of the strongest teams from the North American region will compete for $205,000. In addition to cash prizes, teams battle for two trips to the majors and the important DPC points needed to qualify for T11.

The team was formed back in early 2021. They spent all last season in the North American Division II regional DPC leagues and can't boast any results - 4th and 5th place. Participation in the TI10 qualification didn't bring the guys any success either.

It is commendable that the team did not cease to exist, and broke into the DPC season 2021/22. On the first winter tour, the team spent in the second division and took only 6th place, but the second spring tour was a breakthrough for the team. It became the second team in the league and got the long-awaited promotion to the elite.

In the offseason, the lineup changed drastically. Three players left the team and were replaced by newcomers:

carry first position, Russian paradise' - for 19-year-old Aslan Vadilov, this is his first professional team;

wakemeup returned to the position of four, who had previously played in felt, but missed the spring tour and did not help to get that important vice-championship;

Shoe, an American with Ukrainian roots, moved to the position of the five.

The squad is interesting to CIS Dota fans purely because of the composition, where most of the players are from the Russian-speaking region. Only it is worth understanding that all the players are young and have very little experience, respectively, to expect great accomplishments in the elite from guys is not worth it.

This summer, the team has already had three meetings with the regional middleweights Wildcard Gaming (0:2) and nouns (0:2) and the region leader Quincy Crew (0:2), but the main games for life in the elite are just starting now for those guys.

5RATFORCESTAFF is a North American team formed to compete in the North American Regional DPC League 2021-2022. The team has changed its roster constantly over the three rounds, and the summer was no exception.

Before the summer tour, the team was joined by Speeed, a second-position carry, an unremarkable player known in the American region as a content creator for the YouTube channel GameLeap Dota 2. Overall, the 5RATFORCESTAFF lineup is purely American. Most of the pack has been playing together since February of this year, and they are the ones who led this team to the elite division by winning the second in the spring round: dnm, Lil_Nick, Giant, and albinozebra1.

The team has already played three matches in the elite and lost both of them. And if the starting defeat by Quincy Crew (0:2) and TSM (0:2) is excusable for the elite debutants, the defeat by The Cut (1:2) may cost the guys a place in the top division. The game against felt looked like a major battle for the guys.

The match between the teams felt and 5RATFORCESTAFF is extremely unpredictable. I do not understand why bookmakers believe so much in the 5RATFORCESTAFF team. I suggest taking a handicap 1 (+1.5) on the maps for 1.82.

I expect Total Over 2.5 maps for 2.25.

On the first map, teams will get Total Over 50.5 frags for 1.88.
