It is the first time the Bears have participated in a BLAST tournament. In 2023, Virtus.pro mostly played in third-party commercial tournaments and did not often face teams from the HLTV Top 10, but always put up a fight. The Russian team has done well in CS2, winning the Roobet Cup 2023 and the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023 and finishing second at the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 and BetBoom Dacha. Virtus.pro plays a slow and dense style - they like to save weapons and play long rounds. FL1T significantly impacts the maps, often topping tournaments in terms of damage per round, while Jame prefers to play clean and rarely gets killed. TabseN is getting older and less able to pull BIG out of tough matches. He's still doing 80 damage per round and colliding from his captain's position, but it's getting harder and harder to get the results from game to game. Krimbo and Mantuu are trying to grow as star players in the team, but they can't make a meaningful impact in crucial matches. Of the top 10 HLTV teams, BIG has only won against Monte consistently, while the other teams have rarely met and always lost. There is only one argument in favor of the German team - they have young blood in the team now. The boys have recently been in the organization's academy and need to gain experience.

Virtus.pro has an easy opponent in the first match. BIG won't be able to put up much of a fight, and all the Bears need to win the series and wait for their next opponent is not fail.
