Team Vitality vs OG Prediction: Spinx to strengthen Vitality

After a month's break, the long-awaited CS:GO season resumes. One of the first big tournaments will be BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, which will bring together 12 teams, with almost all of the top present. Ten of the 12 teams are in the top 20 of the HLTV rankings. The teams will play each other for a prize pool of $177,500 and six slots to the next stage. Renewed lineups, a high level of play and plenty of interesting matches, all this awaits CS:GO fans from August 19 to 28.

On August 19, Team Vitality and OG will play their opening match in BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022. We'll find out very soon who's stronger. The match is scheduled to start at 14:00 (UTC+3).

Team Vitality finally decided to make a change in the lineup. The team invited Spinx, who looks like an obvious reinforcement on paper. The last tournaments were not the best. At IEM Cologne 2022, the team took only 9-12th place, losing to the teams far from the top. Spinx should strengthen the team's game and ZywOo will get someone to help out the team. As for the upcoming match, Team Vitality should get rid of Inferno, Ancient and Dust2. The French have never been afraid to play Dust2, but in bo1 against OG it is better to remove this map. Team Vitality's win rate has dropped lately on this map, while OG looked quite good. On the remaining maps, ZywOo and Co. look like favorites.

OG has shown poor results in recent months. The team has not been able to prove their worth in any tournaments. The only sparkle was at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2022, where the Europeans played with degster as AWPer. The organization liked the Russian player so much that they decided to sign him, and the guys had time to practice together before the new season. This replacement looks to be a reinforcement, degster had a very powerful BLAST and established himself as a great AWPer. Though, it will still be difficult against the top teams. Unfortunately, the Czech-Polish OG line is not to be trusted at all. As for maps, the guys will get rid of Nuke and Vertigo. They'll have to choose between Mirage and Overpass. Both aren't the best options, but Mirage looks a little more interesting. Regardless, we don't think OG will win. A 25% win rate should do the trick.

Team Vitality is the favorite. After a disappointing half season and substitutions, the team should pull themselves together and start the tournament with a victory. The bookmakers offer odds of around 1.70 for Team Vitality to win, which looks like a good options. You can also take the victory of the French with a handicap (-2.5) for odds of 1.92.
