28.08.2022 17:30
BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 is one of the seasonal stages of the BLAST Premier League. There are no qualifiers for this tournament. Only twelve invited teams will compete for $177,500 in prize money. But the grand prize will be a quota for the next stage, the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022, awarded to the first through sixth place teams in this tournament.
The format of Fall Groups 2022 is unique and does not replicate any of the previous tournaments. The championship will be held in three stages: the group stage, the "knockout" stage, and the "last chance" stage. The participants were divided into three groups of four squads for the group stage. All group stage matches will be played in BO1 format and in a double elimination system (any team will face the defeated one in a parallel game and have the possibility to continue in the bottom grid) for each group. At the end of the group stage, none of the teams will leave the tournament (BO1 healthy). It will only be a struggle to seed to the next stage. The next knockout stage is similar in structure to the playoff grid, but only three teams will leave the tournament at this stage, and three more will receive a quota for the next round. The remaining six teams will go on to the "last chance" stage, where the teams that occupy the remaining three slots will be determined. All second and third-stage matches will be played in BO3, single elimination.
The "last chance" stage has begun. Teams will fight for the last three tickets to the next league tournament. Losers will still have a chance to compete on the Showdown stage, but that's another story. The match for the quota will be Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Heroic. Both of these teams overestimated their strengths against Liquid on overpass and therefore found themselves in a last chance battle. Heroic will be hitting their opponents accurately, while Ninjas in Pyjamas will be trying to find a gap in their opponent's game and undermine it. We'll soon find out whose tactics will be stronger.

At the end of last season Ninjas in Pyjamas began to perform confidently, won one tournament (Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022), and even climbed to the fifth position in the world rankings. Enough time has passed since the arrival of the last player for the squad to play well, the more so that the newly recruited shooter Patrick "es3tag" Hansen is gaining experience and performing better and better in his new role. This season we expect from them a good, competitive game, and more wins.
At this tournament they have already managed to show both their ups and downs. They won their opening game very confidently, and just as confidently lost the other two. It was obvious that the guys haven't quite mastered the season yet, and often made mistakes on a level playing field. In the first match of the "knock-out" stage they hardly beat the outsiders from the U.S. in the form of Evil Geniuses, who managed to surprise the Ninjas a lot. Today they will meet an equal in strength, the Danish team Heroic, who also do not want to play in Showdown. Sure the Ninjas have something to surprise the team from Denmark.
The last change in the lineup was the arrival of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin.

Heroic: Will They Find the Strength to Win?
The players of the Danish team Heroic are very experienced and strong individually. They have been playing together for quite a long time and have managed to build the team and find their unique style, which is very hard to play against. The team has long established a reputation as a stable representative of the tier1 level.
However, at the end of the last game season, Heroic made a non-binding replacement, and things went downhill. It takes a long time to fully integrate a new player into the team's complex game system. Nevertheless, there was a whole month to prepare for the start of the new season.
They approached in good playing shape for the new season and this tournament and fully prepared to face the best teams. After losing their match in the group, they went straight to the bottom of the net and won the group. In the finals, they demolished FaZe without giving them a shot at the TO. The guys from Denmark approached their encounter with Liquid as favorites. Nevertheless, we should not have underestimated the Liquid, but the Danes made the same mistakes as their opponents today. As a result, they'll be fighting for one last chance to make the main event. Will cadiaN lead his team to victory this time, too?
The last change in the lineup was the arrival of Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard.
The best hltv ranking is #1 in the world. Now it's #13.
The best card is overpass, with 100% win rate in 5 cards played.
