The IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage is the second stage of the most important tournament in the CS:GO world. The title of the champion is much more important than the prize pool, although it's not insignificant – $1,250,000. Teams that made it through the meat grinder of the Challengers stage will join the other teams of the Legends stage and show the best game that they prepared for the most important tournament of their career.

The first stage of the tournament is over. In the Legends Stage, sixteen teams will compete for a spot in the playoffs, where only eight of the participating teams qualify. The Legends Stage matches are played according to the Swiss system (each team plays for points until they have three wins or three losses). The knockout or elimination matches will be BO3, the rest will be BO1.
