Young IGL Kamil siuhy Szkaradek returned to MOUZ this June after a successful performance with GamerLegion at BLAST Paris Major and has already proved that the organization made the right choice by bringing him back.

No one expected that under siuhy's leadership, MOUZ would change so much already at the 18th ESL Pro League season in September. Still, they surprised almost everyone and won the last major CS:GO event, losing the tournament with only three maps out of 22. In CS2, MOUZ has everything to become a title contender, but to get in line with Vitality, G2, and ENCE, they need to reach more finals, and so far, the young European team is one step away from a second straight.

To call FaZe Clan's roster members weak would be a wrong statement, as even in their worst moments, the PGL Antwerp Major champions remain a force that should not be underestimated. However, the karrigan team has experienced difficulties in the second half of 2023.

At the last three high-profile tournaments, the team failed to make the top 8, suffering defeats at ESL Pro League, Gamers8, and IEM Cologne, much to the disappointment of their fans. However, the main argument for us to believe in FaZe is their decision not to change the roster, keeping the same five players for over 20 months.

In their first game in Sydney, FaZe team unexpectedly lost to GamerLegion on the Nuke map (15:19). Still, the team picked up the pace and, in the battle for a place in the playoffs, beat Team Vitality (2:1), Natus Vincere (2:1) and GamerLegion (2:1). In the quarterfinals they beat the tough ENCE players (2:0).

MOUZ still does not know the taste of defeat in this tournament. FaZe also gained momentum, but whether the experienced squad of the favorite can show better readiness in the new version of the game than the young players who did not feel the slump in the transition to CS2.
