ENCE vs Natus Vincere Prediction: the Favorite is Evident

ENCE has qualified for the BLAST Premier: World Final on the BLAST leaderboard. The team performed well this year, but after switching to CS2, the lineup began to change. IGL's place was taken by gla1ve, and kuben became the coach. How did these changes affect the team?

ENCE played in the Elisa Masters Espoo and finished 3-4, losing to Apeks 0-2. The team has skillful players, but the team redistributes basic interactions with the new members. Regarding personal career stats, gla1ve shows better numbers than Snappi, but his teammates still need to get used to his leadership. Against Cloud9, ENCE took a round for the T-side on Ancient, failed to pressure the opponent on Overpass, forced the map into overtime, and didn't take a single round there.

On the positive side, we can highlight the successful pistol rounds (3-1 against Cloud9). But even here, there is a catch - after winning the first two rounds, ENCE fails the second. 

NaVi came to the tournament as a clear outsider for the first time in a long time. After s1mple's grew inactive, Natus Vincere has become a mediocre team, hanging on to past successes. Why is the once-legendary team experiencing serious problems without their main star?

First, the young players are promising but have yet to become tier-1 performers. Their playing is inconsistent from match to match. B1t has become a hostage to the situation: he has to work a lot more. But with a good AIM, he could improve at picking positions on the map. Second, AleksiB has again proven that he can't lead his teams to victory in S-tier tournaments. With his arrival, Natus Vincere went from top 4 to top 8. Third, the team simply does not have tournament practice. In three months, Natus Vincere only participated in IEM Sydney and BLAST Premier: Fall Final. Many teams have already played 4-5 tournaments, but NaVi only showed up at the biggest ones.

B1ad3 must realize that his players only recently played tier 2 tournaments and won't turn into top players overnight. They need more practice and think about changing the captain.

ENCE is still unstable after the change, but they fought Cloud9 on the second map, even in that state. Natus Vincere seems to be a more comfortable opponent in this contrast. They do not have the resources to win at the tier 1 level now.
