This split got off to a mixed start for Astralis Talent. In week one, a win over NYYRIKKI was quickly forgotten after a loss to Bifrost. The second week saw the same swings. An easy victory over the tournament outsiders, Team Singularity, and a defeat by the main favorites JD|XL, who returned 50% of the Danish team's win rate without a chance. The third week was fairly straightforward. Two teams from the middle of the table, MNM Gaming and X7 Esports, were beaten quite easily. The fourth week started just as well for the Danes. They maintained their winning streak against Vanir and showed a decent game but still lost to Riddle Esports. This week, Astralis Talent will face Dusty and NYYRIKKI, who can be beaten.
Astralis Talent emerged in December 2020, led by Donby and Kronos. The team makes it to TES Denmark in 2021, where they take first place from their first season, and in the following two seasons, they have shown decent results. After three decent seasons, the team tries their hand at the DK Winter Showdown 2021, where they fail to make a mark.
The spring split for the Danes was unimportant. After starting the first week 2-0, their next win came in the sixth week. The team never made the playoffs, remaining in seventh place in the table.
Dusty: Things are pretty good
This split started pretty well for Dusty. Three wins in a row, from MNM Gaming and NYYRIKKI, in week one and X7 Esports in week two. Also, in week two, the team suffered an expected defeat by Bifrost. Week three is going great—two easy wins against Vanir and Team Singularity. In the fourth week, the team got the tournament favorites Riddle Esports and JD|XL, who did not even give a chance to win. So with a score of 4-4 and fifth place in the table, Dusty is not a bad opponent, ready to fight back against Astralis Talent and MNM Gaming this week.
Dusty is a young team from Iceland that was formed in March 2019. They started their journey in the Icelandic Esports league, where they finished second in the first season and first in the second. The team then makes it to the Nordic Championship, where the Icelanders don't do well at first. In time the boys managed to snag 3rd-4th place, and from there, they got into the NLC.
The last season has not gone badly for Dusty. Despite three defeats in a row, in week one and week two. The squad was able to recover a bit, winning two matches, and following that, after losing to JDXL, they caught a string of 4 very important wins in a row. They made the playoffs from fourth place but could only make it to third place, losing to Bifrost in the semi-finals.
