West Indies vs. India: India Looking to Make it a 3-0 Clean Sweep

Before the start of this tour, fans and analysts were expecting West Indies to perform out of the box and carry their form against India. After getting a clean sweep in the ODI series, West Indies couldn’t recover and perform well in the T20 internationals. Few players making it into the T20 lineup couldn’t provide their team with the X factor, which would win them important games. On the other hand, Team India has just been phenomenal under their new white-ball captain Rohit Sharma. Going in the last T20 of the series, Team India would be looking to win and make it a 3-0 whitewash.

Team India has always produced some fine youngsters who can adapt to the game situation well and show a decent performance with the bat and the ball. In the last game, it was the heroics of Rishabh Pant who did the impossible possible by smacking unbeaten 52 runs off 28 deliveries. Pant was supported by Virat Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer in the chase. It was a challenging total of 178, which was tracked down by team India, demonstrating a gusty and agile attitude while chasing. In the upcoming game, team India is likely to win and prove that they are unbeatable in their home conditions. It’s time that Ishaan Kishan, the most attractive player at the IPL auction, takes responsibility at the top of the order and score runs for team India.

After posting a par score of 178 for 3 in the 2nd T20 international, West Indies would have thought of themselves as the favorites. He was supported by Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran, who played their part well. Going in the last encounter of the series, West Indian batsmen would try to score more runs giving their bowlers a decent chance to defend.
