The Welsh Fire Women's team has also got off to a good start. They have managed to win three matches out of their four to be on top of the table. Major contributions in the batting department have come from Sophia Dunkley and Hayley Matthews, while they look composed at the crease be it chasing or Matthews in her power-hitting mode. Matthews lit up with an unbeaten 78 against London Spirit, whereas Dunkley managed the game really well in the final over in the match against Manchester Originals. Sarah Bryce is also impressed by her ability to finish the innings with the bat and her consistency. In bowling, Georgia Davis has been very handy with the ball by taking some vital wickets, and Jess Jonassen and Freya Davies have managed to keep things tight. Despite a loss to Oval Invincibles, Welsh Fire has bounced back and managed to come back from behind in key moments of their victories. The success can be attributed to the ways in which they are chasing and individuals' contributions to the victory.

Southern Brave Women form
Defending champion Southern Brave has not yet recorded a win in the ongoing edition. Their title defense has seen them go through without a single win, where the first four games were too close to call. They have had their share of trouble in both the departments: batting and bowling. Though Danni Wyatt has batted with all she has, scoring over 60 twice and 43 in three matches, the other batters have not been consistent enough. This leaves their team without partnerships to bail them out, overall. The season has seen them at the receiving end of implosions, losing a bunch of wickets in no time. The likes of Lauren Bell and Tilly Corteen-Coleman have all appeared to bowl with good promise, but the side hasn't really managed to keep its bowlers tight and defended scores successfully so far in the tournament. Although impressive efforts are seen at times from one or two players, Southern Brave has not had the theme of operating like a unit in the competition.
Southern Brave Women Predicted Playing XI
Danielle Wyatt, Smriti Mandhana, Maia Bouchier, Freya Kemp, Chloe Tryon, Georgia Adams(c), Naomi Dattani, Rhianna Southby(w), Lauren Cheatle, Lauren Bell, Tilly Corteen-Coleman
