England is having a tough summer so far with heatwaves across the country and performances have been subpar for the ODI champions. The games are also coming thick and fast and there is very little rest between the games. They have been struggling since the departure of Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler is not having the best of the starts for his captaincy career. The Englishmen were able to bounce back from the first game defeat and were able to level up the series 1-1 to have a series showdown in Headingley Carnegie. England has improved with the bat in this series and bowlers won the last game by taking all South African wickets for 83. They will be expecting the same type of performance in the final game of the series.
England Predicted Lineup
Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Jos Butter (c/wk), Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, David Willey, Sam Curran, Brydon Carse, Matthew Potts, Reece Topley
South Africa
South Africa is coming into the game with a fabulous victory in the first game of the series but lost the second game. They have been fabulous with the bat in the first game but did very little to impress in the second one. No one seemed to get going and they lost the game by 100+ runs. Dwaine got the opportunity and took regular wickets in the last game. They have well-balanced bowling but the batting needs some improvement. This inconsistency needs to be resolved and they need to come back strongly in the final game of the series.
South Africa Predicted Lineup:
Quinton de Kock (wk), Janneman Malan, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Dwaine Pretorius, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Keshav Maharaj (c), Tabraiz Shamsi
