England vs India Prediction: England to get the first game underway on a positive note

The T20 series is done and dusted with India coming on top but England won the last game to get their reputation back and make the series 2-1. Now the focus will change to the one-day international series and it will be interesting to see how the teams fare. Who will come out on top?

England after their abysmal performance in the first two T20s came strongly to win the final game of the series. Their weak link was batting but some superb contribution by Dawid Malan was enough to see them through in the last game. With the coming of Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Jonny Bairstow coming up in this format the English batting lineup will get a major boost which they were lacking in the first few T20s. This ODI series is part of the ICC world cup super league and England is sitting on top they would want the same after the series ends.

India has got a major confidence boost after winning the T20 series against the Englishmen. Despite Rohit and Kohli's lack of form Indian batting lineup is doing pretty well in the T20s. With the ODIs now India would want these two superstars to do well and get back to form. Shikhar Dhawan has joined the group and will open the innings with Rohit. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has not been part of India's bowling lineup but Shami and Bumrah will be taking the responsibilities. Surya Kumar will be looking to continue his form with a scintillating 100 he scored in the final T20 international.
