Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders: DC to double over KKR in this year's IPL

The two teams who are in desperate need of a victory go head to head in the Indian Premier League. A do a die situation for both the teams and it will become very difficult to make it to the playoff in case of a defeat. DC won the tie when these teams met in the tournament last time, the honors will be on KKR to get their revenge. 

Delhi started their campaign relatively well but have got derailed in the last few matches. They are sitting in seventh place with only 3 wins in their seven games. Their last game ended in a defeat against table-toppers Rajasthan Royals, though they might be feeling undone by the umpiring decision that went against their way. Having beaten KKR in their previous fixture, Delhi will be hoping to replicate the same. They need to find their consistency to make it to the playoffs and it won't be a better time to do so in a do-or-die situation on Thursday.

Kolkata finds itself in a similar form and territory as Delhi. With no wins in the last four games, they will be desperate to break this unwanted streak. They are not able to figure out the top order and it's costing them their momentum. With Venkatesh Iyer not in form, they need to again gamble on Rahane at the top. They were not able to chase down 157 in the last game against Gujarat Titans. KKR need to severely improve their batting if they want to go into the playoffs and beyond.

Wankhede means runs, plenty of it. The team batting first has a massive disadvantage of what score to put on a board to defend, so expect the same that the team winning the toss will be bowling first. We are expecting Delhi to win the game as they have more pressure on them and came close to chasing 222 in their last game.
