Shokichi Iwata is currently on an unbeatable run of four bouts. He is currently fighting out of Tokyo, Japan, and is affiliated with Teiken Gym. His last fight was three months ago against Jahzeel Trinidad, which ended in a Technical Knockout victory. Prior to that, he faced René Mark Cuarto and won via TKO/KO this year. In 2023, he fought twice against Jayson Brilo and Jerome Baloro, which all ended in a technical knockout victory. Iwata suffered a loss to Puerto Rico's Jonathan Gonzalez. The bout lasted to the 12th round and was decided via points. Iwata has also won some bouts in which the judges were the deciders, especially in 2022. Some of those fights were against fellow contender Kenichi Horikawa, who lost his chance to the WBO Men's Title belt in the 12th round. Through out his professional career, Iwata has recorded thirteen wins and only a loss.
Jairo Noriega - hopes to keep a Perfect Record
Jairo Noriega boasts of a professional record of fourteen wins. What a perfect record for the Spanish 30-year-old boxer. He is afflicted with the Tsubox Team and last fought seven months ago. His last fight was against Azael Villar, which ended in a unanimous decision victory. Prior to this, he fought against Jerson Larious, who was another judges decider on points. In 2022, he faced 38-year-old fellow compatriot Angel Moreno for the EBU men title belt. Jairo won the contest via points after the 12th round. In 2021, under the KO Boxing promotion, Jairo faced Nohel Arambulet and won via unanimous decision. His last TKO/KO victory was three years and four months ago when he faced Francesco Barotti. He is fighting out of Villarreal, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.

Expert Betting Tips
Both fighters truly have a chance of claiming the vacant title belt. They share an equal number of fights, with Iwata suffering a loss as Jairo holds a complete winning streak. Iwata is younger and has had more fights in the last two years than Jairo in his last four. Jairo has seven months to prepare for this bout, while Iwata just had three. All this will tell in this bout in terms of body recovery and adaptation to the game. Due to this reason, I see this bout being decided by the judges. A Majority Decision win is very likely to come through in this bout. Iwata seems to have insane power, especially after securing back-to-back knockout victories twice. I will still project him to win this bout.
