Nevertheless, there were a lot of talks, but they have only subsided now, and this episode became almost the main reason for organizing a rematch.

Chris Eubank Jr. is one of the top middleweight boxers, the former interim WBA champion, and the former IBO champion. Powerful punches and solid size characterize him. From time to time, Chris changes weight classes, trying to find "his" and at least come close to the achievements of his famous father, but so far, he has not succeeded. Before the loss to Smith, Chris Eubank had a winning streak of six fights (and only one TKO victory - over Matvey Korobov).

Liam Smith is a former WBO champion. Before his win over Eubank in January, Smith had won three straight by knockout, but the Russian boxing fan knows him more for his two outstanding confrontations. In 2016, Smith fought Saul Alvarez, and although he lost, he looked pretty decent. And in 2021, he stepped into the ring against Magomed Kurbanov at the RCC Boxing Promotions tournament. In the rematch, the favorite is already Liam Smith, and the arguments of the experts are mainly reduced to the fact that Smith has gained great momentum; he has seen strong opponents and knows very well what he can offer to Eubank. The chances of Eubank in the first half of the fight are more significant, as Smith usually speeds up along the way and is always very good at the end. But aggression in the opening rounds is quite fraught - we saw how it all ended in their first confrontation.
