Unicaja vs Barcelona Prediction: the Visitors to End the Series

The Andalusians have a quality squad, but, like Joventut, some players, for some reason, do not show what they seemed quite capable of. Most disturbing is that those players are among the team's leaders. Their captain should be European champion, Dario Brizuela. Now, his 27 points for Barcelona in the King's Cup of Basketball is, alas, a thing of the past - in this playoffs, Dario is simply horrible. In a nutshell, when a team is struggling and doesn't have a proper leader, it's a lost cause.

It's not any easier for the Catalans right now. Mirotic, in particular, is a pale shadow of his last year self. But that's why Barcelona is so marvelous - without Higgins, bad Mirotic, and Jasikevicius in the lead; they still find capable players. Abrines, Kalinic, and Satoransky took responsibility and proved themselves on Sunday. We don't expect Tyson Carter, still a Zenit player, to do the same again.  

Bookmakers believe that Barcelona will win, but in a hard fight, as well as in the case of Joventut. Also, the Catalans will make it to the finals though no players can fight in a series rather than in a single game on the lineup. In contrast, some guys get on the floor and ruin everything, even in the starting five.

So, in the last game, the starting five of Barcelona defeated their opponents with a score of 52:28. Unicaja's bench players did their best, but they couldn't make up for the loss of the core roster. We assume it won't repeat - Ibon Navarro doesn't have Kalinic and Kuric on the bench.
