Indiana Hoosiers vs Miami Hurricanes Prediction: A close battle?

The NCAA collegiate basketball is a wonderful opportunity to catch the best of youth talent. As we head deeper, things are going to intensify further because it means teams are heading toward the title game. In this NCAA game, Indiana Hoosiers are going to take on the Miami Hurricanes.

The Hoosiers come into the game after defeating Kent State 71:60 as their ace Trayce Jackson-Davis scooped up 24 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and five blocks. Race Thompson collected 20 points and nine rebounds. Kent State was superb on the offensive rebounding end, and Indiana was outrebounded 10:18 on the offensive rebounding end. Indiana almost shot 47% from the field and they dealt most of their damage inside the paint. Under coach Mike Woodson, Hoosiers took the next step this season. Although they dropped to 19 from being 10th in the AP poll.

The Hurricanes enter the affair after defeating Drake 63:56 as Nijel Pack scooped up 21 points and 4 rebounds. Miami struggled massively on the offensive end outside of Pack and Wooga Poplar who picked up 15 points, and overall, the Hurricanes shot merely 30.4%. The main difference came in the form of free-throws and Miami ended up making 23 free-throws in 29 attempts. Miami collected 41 rebounds compared to 35 by Drake State. Miami’s play on defense has been impressive but they will need to shoot better.

The Hoosiers have done a great job throughout the season on both ends but Miami is no pushover and can push them to their limits. Indiana has a trump card in the form of Trayce Jackson-Davis and he can alone bury the Miami lineup. Miami’s defense will keep them in play but I expect Hoosiers to close this down.
