Utah Jazz vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction: Inconsistent Jazz face highly consistent Bucks

The NBA season is heading toward the Postseason at an electric rate and this is a crucial time when we identify which teams are going to make it past the Regular Season. Thus, it becomes essential for Playoffs/Play-in aspirants to ensure that they don’t run into losing streaks. One such team, the Utah Jazz is going to take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Jazz comes into the game after losing 115:127 against the Trail Blazers despite a 40 points and 12 rebounds performance by Lauri Markkanen. The Jazz has won four out of their last six games. In an extended window, they have six losses in the last ten games. The Jazz keeps on falling below 50% win barrier and has 37 losses and 35 wins. The Jazz has five games at home and five away from home whereas this schedule can’t be labeled easy based on the level of opponents. Things have become rather hazy as both Lauri and Clarkson have been injured, making it tough to find sustainable scoring options.

The Bucks enter the match after defeating the Spurs 130:94 as Giannis Antetokounmpo scooped up 31 points and 10 rebounds. The Bucks have two wins in a row and they have won a ton this season. They have 52 wins and 20 losses and have a big shot at finishing with 60 wins and at the top of the Eastern Conference. The Bucks will be looking for their second title in three seasons which may not be a far-fetched dream considering the form they have been in. They will begin a four-game away-from-home trip but playing on the road hasn’t been a problem. Giannis is an MVP candidate and he has been in great touch.

This game looks like a lost cause for Utah but you never know when the home-court advantage turns into a huge plus for a team that is without its two leading scorers. The question for the Jazz is finding the hot hand, who will it be? I don’t see two players that can score 20+ on an efficient note and you need such hot hands against one of the best scoring units in the Bucks. That’s why I expect the Bucks to win big and predict a scoreline of 129:116 in their favor.
