San Antonio vs New Orleans Prediction: the Pelicans to Beat the Spurs with the Margin

San Antonio has failed nine games and will now host New Orleans. Can't the Spurs win again?

The Spurs had a good start, but they unexpectedly began to fall back. Gregg Popovich's team is coming into this game against New Orleans after nine defeats. The most recent opponent for San Antonio was Oklahoma State, whom the Spurs lost on the road, 111-119. San Antonio occupies last place in the Western Conference standings with a 6-16 lead over only the Houston Rockets.

Willie Green's team made the playoffs last season, and this one looks like they're not just going to repeat that feat but surpass it. In other words, to get past the first round, where the Pelicans stopped the last time. So far, New Orleans is doing very well, sitting in third place (13-8). In their match, the Pelicans beat Toronto 126-108 at home. And out of the last five games, they were stronger in four. 

San Antonio has one of the weakest lineups this season and will not have their starting center Jakob Pöltl in the upcoming game. That means that Zion Williamson will have considerably more room to attack via the three-point line, something he is terrific at and loves. Most likely, New Orleans will win and, like in the recent home game against San Antonio, score many points. We're betting on the Pelicans.
