The NBA midseason spells the coming of the trade deadline and a lot of teams will be looking to land options that either help them progress or work in the long run. Thus, a lot of factors are in play when talking about the trade scenarios so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Anyway, in this NBA Regular Season game, the San Antonio Spurs are going to take on the Sacramento Kings.

The Spurs come into this game after losing 106:127 against the Wizards despite a 26 points performance by Keldon Johnson. San Antonio has now lost six in a row and they have been defeated 14 of their 16 games, which isn’t a surprise for a team that has now lost 37 wins and has just 14 wins. Their abysmal record means that they are going to the lottery and will hope to land Victor Wembanyama.
Keldon Johnson has led the scoring effort and has averaged well over 20 points a game but that hasn’t been enough because of the team’s abysmal defense and the lack of ample scoring balance especially since Devin Vassell has been injured. Tre Jones has been a constant playmaker but overall, the Spurs have a lot of work to do. Let us see if they are busy around the trade deadline.
Sacramento Kings
The Kings enter the game after defeating the Timberwolves 118:111 in Overtime as De’Aaron Fox nailed 32 points and Domantas Sabonis had 13 rebounds. They have three losses in five games which followed a six-game winning streak which has led them to 28 wins and 21 losses. They are in the middle of a seven-game road trip but the schedule involves mostly sub-par teams.
The Kings have been led by De’Aaron Fox scoring-wise but he has much more support offensively. Keegan Murray and Harrison Barnes are two dependable Wing scorers while Domantas Sabonis has done well to lead the rebounding end. Kevin Huerter’s long-range shooting has been highly effective while Malik Mon’s recovery from injury is going to play a crucial role considering the so-so bench of Sacramento.

- Spurs: OUT: Devin Vassell. QUESTIONABLE: Romeo Langford. PROBABLE: Josh Richardson;

Expert Betting Tips
The Kings have been playing at a great rate on the scoring end but their defense has let them down a bit. They are on the road but they are playing teams that have struggled massively. The Spurs are just performing as expected and their lack of wins isn’t much of a surprise. I expect the Kings to have a big offensive night here and beat San Antonio. I predict a scoreline of 133:117.
