San Antonio Spurs vs Portland Trail Blazers Prediction: Battle of wholly depleted teams

The NBA season is storming toward the Postseason that contains the Play-in tournament and Playoffs. This is a window where we will see teams vying for the seventh and eighth seed in the Play-in tournament whereas the Playoffs will kick on the battle for the title. In this game, the San Antonio Spurs are going to take on the Portland Trail Blazers

The Trail Blazers will come into the affair after losing 109:119 losing against the Grizzlies despite a 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists performance by Skyler Mays. Portland has lost six of the last seven games. Damian Lillard who averaged 32.2 points per game has been shut down since the third week of March and his individual performances have been once again not backed by the team around him. Defense remains a problem and despite a big season from Anfernee Simons things didn’t change. Jerami Grant was awesome to begin the season but lost his zip later.

• Spurs: OUT: Charles Bassey, Khem Birch, Doug McDermott, Jeremy Sochan, Devin Vassell, Devonte Graham. QUESTIONABLE: Zach Collins, Keldon Johnson, Romeo Langford;
• Trail Blazers: OUT: Ibou Badji, Damian Lillard, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson, Jerami Grant, Nasir Little, Jusuf Nurkic, Anfernee Simons. DOUBTFUL: Matisse Thybulle. QUESTIONABLE: Shaedon Sharpe, Cam Reddish, Trendon Watford. PROBABLE: Drew Eubanks, Kevin Knox II.

There is not much to talk about here. Both teams are missing their main players and at this point, they may be fielding their third or fourth-string units. So this makes for a tough prediction scenario. Anyway, I back the Spurs to win considering they have the home-court advantage.
