Sacramento Kings vs New York Knicks Prediction: Two teams on a roll

We are just a few days away from the Play-in tournament which will quickly pave the way for the Playoffs’ first round routine. Thus, this becomes a vital part for players and coaches alike to figure out how they can bolster their claims to a high ranking. Thus, each battle brings a different spice. In another spicy battle, the Sacramento Kings are going to take on the New York Knicks.

The Kings are going to enter the battlefield after defeating the Pelicans 123:108 on the heels of a 25 points performance by Kevin Huerter. The Kings are in a great form this season and have won nine of their 12 games. This has enabled them to reach 38 wins and 26 losses, which gives them a big shot to acquire the second position in the West before the Regular Season is done. The Kings haven’t made the Postseason for more than 15 seasons and this is their golden chancer to break the curse in the Golden 1 Center.

 After struggling by himself for multiple seasons, De’Aaron Fox has now received great scoring and all-purpose boost around him. The gamble to bring Domantas Sabonis by trading away future star Tyrese Haliburton has opened up these avenues. Kevin Huerter has been shooting beautifully whereas Barnes and Murray are great balancing acts. The Kings are one of the best offensive teams in the league.

The Knicks enter the affair after an unexpected 105:112 loss against the Hornets despite a 27 points performance by RJ Barrett. The Knicks were on a brilliant nine-game winning streak before the last loss. The winning streak has enabled the team to reach 39 wins and 28 losses. This record puts them in fifth position, having just two more wins and equal losses compared to cross-town rival Nets.

This has been a great season for the Knicks and the expensive move to Jalen Brunson has paved way for something special as the duo of Julius Randle and Brunson has clicked for sure. Credit also goes to the sprightly young Guard rotation of Quinten Grimes, Immanuel Quickley, and RJ Barrett has made the team deep scoring-wise. They defend hard and the middle-play of Mitchell Robinson gives them a defensive and rebounding edge.
