Phoenix Suns vs Portland Trail Blazers Prediction: Can Trail Blazers pull off another heist?

Wow, what a start to the NBA Regular Season, you never know which team loses even after being a favorite and even major teams from last season have suffered a ton of defeats. In the Regular Season, the landscape is widespread and as each team plays 82 games, a lot of transformation takes place throughout the season. And one of the projected top teams Phoenix Suns will take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Portland Trail Blazers last played the Suns barely 24 hours ago and that game was one of the thrilling affairs of the season. The Trail Blazers won 108:106 against a full-strength Suns squad while they were missing their key guards Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons. In that game, the athletic Trail Blazers took advantage of less athletic Suns and jumped up to a 59:49 lead, and kept the Suns at bay for the most part. Jusuf Nurkic was huge in the clutch and after Devin Booker hit a three, the scorers were tied with around a second to go. Jerami Grant nailed the game-winner to bring Portland a win.

This has been the nature of the two battles between these two squads. Suns have only lost to the Blazers and that too twice. The first game between the two was sent to Overtime and was decided in the last second as Deandre Ayton missed two clutch free-throws. The latest win came as a big one because the Trail Blazers won away from home and without the heroes of the previous win in form of Anfernee Simons and Damian Lillard.

This one also promises to be a thriller but will it be so? Anfernee Simons is likely to play here and that will further bolster an already confident Trail Blazers. In the last game, Blazers shut down Devin Booker and that made a world of difference wheraes their own offense was ticking at the right time with tremendous athleticism.
