Phoenix Suns vs Memphis Grizzlies Prediction: The Suns are wavering, the Grizzlies soaring

NBA has been in great shape and this has been another fantastic season as we have witnessed some teams rise up while others fall. As we head deeper, things are only going to get trickier with each scenario presenting us with more challenges. In the NBA Regular Season, the Phoenix Suns will take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Suns come into this affair after losing to the Wizards 110:113 despite a 31 points outing by Landry Shamet. This loss ended a three-game winning streak and such losses are becoming rather commonplace for Phoenix which was disposing of teams with losing records without any impunity last season. Despite recent shortcomings, the Suns have a respectable record of 19 wins and 13 losses. An injury to Devin Booker has derailed the Suns’ effort. Deandre Ayton has picked up his effort as a scorer and rebounder but the team’s defense has been rather terrible this season. How will the Suns bounce back from their terrible window?

The Grizzlies enter the scene after suffering a 91:105 loss against the Nuggets despite a 35 points performance by Ja Morant. They have lost two in a row after building a seven-game winning streak. They are having another fantastic season with 19 wins and 11 losses thus far. They have continued from where they left off last season and things are looking encouraging for this Morant-led squad. Despite the absence of their second option, Desmond Bane, Memphis has stamped its authority repeatedly. Dillon Brooks’ improved offense and Jaren Jackson’s immense contributions have become the staple of this squad. Despite some losses, Memphis has been doing the job more often than not.

• Grizzlies: OUT: Danny Green. QUESTIONABLE: Desmond Bane.

• Expected Leading Rebounders: Steven Adams(11-14 Rebounds), Deandre Ayton(9-12 Rebounds);
• Expected Leading Playmakers: Chris Paul(9-12 Assists), Ja Morant(7-9 Assists)

The Suns have been struggling a bit and this has been a weird season, still, it is nowhere as bad as their rivals Golden State Warriors. On the other hand, Memphis keeps on expanding its game and has found a great balance once again, which has sustained its effort on both ends of the floor. For the Grizzlies, things are going to be a bit easier as Devin Booker isn’t playing but the rest of the Suns have well-versed two-way players, so this doesn’t look like an automatic win. Anyway, I’d back the Grizzlies to eke out a win. I predict a scoreline of 118:114 in the Grizzlies’ favor.
