For the Pistons, the game against Philadelphia is the second part of a back-to-back. In the first, Detroit lost to Utah 111:126 without a chance at home. This was their third straight loss and sixth in the last seven games. Detroit is in last place in the standings with a good 8-25 lead. 

Detroit is the weakest team in the Eastern Conference, and it will also have a back-to-back with a flight from Detroit to Philadelphia. So it's unlikely that the Pistons have any chance of success in the upcoming game. They have improved noticeably recently, winning five games in a row, and they certainly won't mind extending their winning streak.
