Amway Center (Orlando)
04.11.2022. 02:00
Orlando has beaten Golden State for four seasons in a row on their home court, but right now the bookmakers do not really believe in the home team's success. Can the Magic beat the reigning NBA champions?

The fact that the Magic are plagued by injuries has its upside. Head coach Jamahl Mosley may continue to experiment, but it's hard to produce results under such circumstances. Orlando was recently left without a point guard, a position where Franz Wagner was in the starting five. Jalen Suggs seems to have recovered from his injury, so the absence of Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony should not be too much of a concern. Paolo Banchero is quickly becoming a staple of Orlando: Not only is he the club's leader in scoring average (22.7 points), but he's also taking over the role of playmaker.
Despite the constant losses, Orlando is far from the worst in the league in shooting from the field. The bigs are making the weather, compensating for sniper misses, with Bol Bol gradually gaining the confidence of the head coach and displacing Mo Bamba from the rotation. Bol is averaging 10.9 points per game with about 20 minutes on the floor and he is also the team leader in blocked shots (2.4 per game).
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors are off to a poor start to the regular season, with the reigning NBA champions sitting outside the Western Conference Top 6. Golden State's style of play is still recognizable, Steph Curry continues to show some promise, but Klay Thompson is not contributing as expected. Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins are slowly picking up their second and third star roles, though both have yet to reach the next level.
Steve Kerr is hesitant to give young players more playing time. James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga have been out of the rotation at times and Moses Moody has only been on the court more since Donte DiVincenzo was injured. Andre Iguodala remains in the infirmary, an experienced player like that could really shake up the team and improve our defense. They could use some reinforcement, as Golden State does not even stack in the top 15 of the NBA's defensive rankings. Their defense is lame on the fast break, but the Warriors don't shoot much from the paint.
Stats tips
The Magic have won 3 of their last 4 home games. If we look at the trend, Orlando's win with overtime included for 3.78 at 1xbet looks interesting.
The Magic have scored 110+ points in 3 of their last 4 home games, so it might be worth trying Orlando's ITO (108) points at odds of 1.768 at 1xbet.
Expert Betting Tips
The Warriors urgently need to catch up on their losses at the start of the regular season, and Orlando is the most suitable opponent for this purpose. The Magic lack experience, continue to develop young players and experiment with their roster. Their home court isn't ideal, but the Warriors should be able to contain Paolo Banchero and others. Draymond Green or Andrew Wiggins should be able to play against the home team's leader personally. And it is unlikely that the Warriors will allow Wendell Carter or Bol Bol to make a difference under the basket. Our prediction is as follows:
- H2 (-8.5) for 1.95;
- TO (222.5) for 1.67;
- W2 by 21+ Points for 5.50.
