Oklahoma City Thunder vs Washington Wizards Prediction: Successful Chance for Washington

Oklahoma has won five of its last seven games at home. Does Washington have no chance of success at the Pacom Center, either?

In the previous match, the Thunder lost on the road to Orlando (115:126). But who cares if, before that, Philip Dano's team smashed one of the season's strongest teams, Boston, on its site – 150:117. A phenomenal result, however, does not much stand out from the canvas of Oklahoma's home matches this season. The Thunder has won 11 out of 20 matches in the home arena, although they generally have a negative win-loss balance of 16-22. The team is still ranked 13th in the Western Conference standings, but it already plans to compete for the play-in round this season.

Like Oklahoma in the West, Washington in the East should not be written off in the race for the play-in round. Wes Unseld's team lost their previous match, away to Milwaukee (113:123), but before that, they won five in a row, including defeating the same Bucks at their Fiserv Forum. Washington is 17-22, 11th in the East, and only 0.5 wins behind the top 10.

Oklahoma has been performing well on its court lately, but Thunder is a young team and so far demonstrates mostly very naive basketball without protection. Washington is much more experienced, and even without Bradley Beal, who will not come out on the floor of the Pacom Center, it can beat the Thunder. In addition, given Oklahoma's naivety, it is worth considering betting on the top. Thunder has broken through the total offered by bookmakers for the upcoming match in six of the last eight matches.
