The NBA Regular Season has finally bowed out and in another fascinating season, we are going to have an electric finish to matters. However, many teams are resting their major players to prepare for the Postseason. In one of those matters, Memphis Grizzlies are going to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Grizzlies won over 50 games and sealed the second spot in the West. The season has been fueled with controversies; Ja Morant has been in a bunch of off-court controversies and Memphis’ responsibilities have been taken over by Jaren Jackson Jr who has not only deposited superb defense but has hit his best rhythm on the offensive end. The presence of Desmond Bane alongside Morant makes for an impactful backcourt. Steven Adams will be sidelined for the Playoffs it seems which is a big blow but not a decisive blow considering how Memphis managed without him last Playoffs.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder is going to finish tenth in the West which means that they will be in the Play-in tournament. They will face the ninth-seed team away from home which is yet to be determined at the time of writing. A loss will mean that the season is over and a win would mean that they will have to then beat the winner of the game between seventh and eighth seed. No matter what happens, Thunder has overachieved considering its youth and the core of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and Jaylin Williams will look even more solid once Chet Holmgren makes his debut, although it remains to be seen how he will respond after an injury that claimed his season.

Major players from both teams are going to be out in this game so it will be left to the third-string units to play this one out. How do you even predict a game of this nature then? Well, it is rather futile to try so for the sake of it, I’d back the home team.
