NBA is moving steadily towards the Postseason and this has been another eventful season where we have seen a lot of ups and downs. Some squads have kept falling but it was expected from the get-go. However, some squads have risen up and one of those squads, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Detroit Pistons.

The Thunder suffered a setback in the last game, losing 134:137 against the Hornets despite a 33 points outburst by Isaiah Joe. The Thunder were without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and played terrible defense which undermined multiple high-scoring nights from their youngsteres. Oklahoma City has lost three of the last four games and this window has set them back after they were looking primed to reach the Play-in tournament. The race for both the Playoffs and Play-in is tigheting so the team can’t afford losing windows at this point.
Detroit Pistons
The Pistons continued their losing trail as they conceded 117:126 to the Bucks as Jaden Ivey hit 32 points. Detroit has now lost six in a row and 17 of their last 18 games. Mind-numbingly, they have won two in a row just once this season and that was back in November. They have collected 59 losses and just 16 wins in another terrible season for the squad. This has led the team to being close to landing Victor Wembanayama and even if they miss out on him, there are other talented star-like athletes in the Draft.
Injuries
- Thunder: OUT: Kenrich Williams, Chet Holmgren. Game-Time Decisions: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lindy Waters III;
- Pistons: OUT” Cade Cunningham, Hamiduo Diallo, Isaiah Stewart, Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks, Rodney McGruder.
Expert Betting Tips
The Thunder has been slanting a bit and they do need Shai to accentuate their hopes to make it to the Play-in tournament. The Pistons are not playing even a decent brand of basketball and they are lagging behind any other team, also plagued by injuries to their main players, espescially their leading scorer Bojan Bogdanovic. Anyway, I back the Thunder to win this game and predict a scoreline of 122:113.
