Miami Heat vs Denver Nuggets Prediction: Will the visitors win the 3rd game of the final?

Miami transformed dramatically in Game 2 of the final series, while Denver did nothing to surprise the Heat. The Florida club now has some initiative, although even in home games they won't be favourites. The odds on the Nuggets have risen sharply - should we take advantage of the situation and bet on the visitors in the 3rd game of the final?

Erik Spoelstra's coaching talent is leading Miami to success. Jimmy Butler cannot play at full strength because of injury, and in fact, the Heat is currently playing without almost any stars. Bam Adebayo doesn't produce many spectacular offensive performances, and his 26 points in Game 1 of the Final Series still didn't help the Florida club. Gabe Vincent shines brightest among role players, averaging 16 points and hitting 50% of his three-pointers in his last ten playoff games.

After losing the opening game of the final, Eric Spoelstra made adjustments, some of them obvious. Kevin Love, who had previously missed three games in a row, returned to the rotation. Miami finally got some long-range shots on the road against the Nuggets, and Max Strus more or less made up for his poor start. Vincent made several critical three-pointers and, with 23 points, became the most productive player on the team. The final score was 111:108, a win for the Heat.

Before the start of the finals, Denver was the undisputed favorite to win the series with Miami, but so far, they haven't entirely lived up to their status. As head coach Michael Malone pointed out, the Nuggets won the first game without a superb performance. Perhaps the Colorado squad, especially Michael Porter Jr, has fallen off its game rhythm.

Porter has played reasonably average so far, though he's sometimes made some tough and vital shots. Michael is still the 3rd average scorer for the Nuggets in the current playoffs, but Jamal Murray is scoring almost twice as much: 27.0 for Murray versus 14.0 for Porter. Nikola Jokic has almost caught up to Stephen Curry in average points this postseason.

Jokic scored 41 points in the last game, which did not keep his team from losing. You can say that his opponent also limited the two-time MVP's functionality. After all, Nikola gave up only four assists. Jamal Murray made a few difficult shots, but the final attempt was unsuccessful, and the game could not go into overtime.

Denver simply has to learn from last week's defeat. As a matter of fact, Jokic said immediately after the game that his team would do well to pick up the pace, as slowing the pace is good for Miami. The Nuggets have had some productive games in the series with the Lakers, and a change of pace could make the game more entertaining.
