Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks: The visitors stay in the race for No. 8 in the East

The Heat is the first team of the East and today's game is not really important for them, while the guests are much more motivated to win. But will they have enough strength for a third game in four days?

Everyone remembers the bench scuffle involving Butler, Spoelstra and Haslem when the team sagged in terms of results, but that shake-up seems to have worked and the story has changed after the losing streak.

Miami is now on a winning streak of five straight games, while managing to beat three teams in the top six of the Eastern Conference. Overall, the Heat are reasserting themselves as the top team in the East. That's why it will be very interesting to see what the home team will offer today against the Hawks after their high-scoring win over the Hornets (144-115).

And this is an opportunity for backup in case there is a misfire in the first game, so there is more than enough motivation for Young and company.

There is one problem: the Hawks are playing their third game in four days. Despite a very impressive end to the season, the team has played seven games since March 26 and lost only once. But the fatigue factor can't be eliminated. Although Nate McMillan's roster is almost fully recovered, it's still difficult to play consecutive tough games.

The Heat have a huge number of players questionable in today's matchup, although all of the leaders are in the lineup, and therefore after resting, the advantage will certainly be for the home team. Over the season, three games saw the Heat win twice, once away and once at home, and the last face-off in Atlanta ended with a victory for the hosts. Basically, a very productive game is not expected, so we should bet on Total Under as well as the home win.
